(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Wednesday November 5th, 2014, at approximately 1:30am Quinte West OPP responded to a Dundas Street East business for the report of a theft of poppy box donations.
The two suspects were described as:
White male with a medium build and short brown hair, wearing jeans and a red jacket
White female with bleach blonde hair in her late 40’s, wearing a blue and black jacket, jeans, and high heels
Police investigation revealed that a second poppy box had also been stolen from another Dundas Street East business. It is believed to be the same involved suspects. The poppy boxes are the property of the Royal Canadian Legion. It is unknown how much cash was stolen from the boxes. The investigation is continuing.
