THEFT OF MOTORIZED SNOW VEHICLE

(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s assistance in solving this crime.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 a motorized snow vehicle (snowmobile) became disabled on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) B103 Trail near George Johnston Road. When the operator of this snowmobile returned approximately 90 minutes later with a trailer to remove the disabled vehicle it had been stolen. This snowmobile is described as:

Arctic Cat with no Arctic Cat decals, previously removed
Model Z1TURBO 1100
Black in colour
Ontario Registration # 7AD066
White side panels
Black rear bottom
Grey hood
Silver windshield
Headlight eye decals – makes headlights appear light “eyes”
