THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE SADDLEBAG

(SOUTH RIVER, ON) On Thursday October 2, 2014, the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the theft of a saddlebag from a motorcycle that was parked in the Village of South River, Ontario.

Sometime around 7:00 p.m., unknown person(s) removed the saddle bag from a motorcycle that was parked at a local business. Inside the grey saddle bag was a variety of items, including an Apple Ipod, motorcycle clothes, sleeping bag liner, head lamp and down jacket. The value of the stolen items is estimated at just over $1000.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.”
