(HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 18, 2013 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a mischief report regarding damage to a machine owned by Hydro One on an un-assumed road in Hamilton Township.
The OPP officer attended to the location at the end of Turk Road where the employee advised that sometime between Thursday November 14 and Monday November 18, unknown persons had gained access to inside a “filler/buncher†machine that had several exterior compartments entered and property was taken. A preliminary check of items missing include a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, bolt cutters, assorted cleaning products and a Hydro One portable radio. The estimated value of stolen property is undetermined at this time.
The officer conducted an initial investigation at the scene and requested the OPP’s Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) from Peterborough be contacted to assist with the continuing investigation.
