Theft Of Fuel – Police Looking For White 4×4 Chevy Silverado

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) – On Saturday February 26, 2016, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a rural property located along Road 101 (Wilmot-Easthope Rd) in response to a break-in and theft.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Saturday February 26, 2016, a pickup truck drove up the residence driveway and stopped at the bulk fuel tank on the property. One of the truck occupants gained entry to the shop on the property and gained access to the bulk fuel tank controls. The truck was fuelled up and left the property.

Description of the pickup truck;

4×4 Chevy Silverado white in colour

A black hard top tonneau cover, covered the box of the truck

The truck had rear chrome tail light covers

Further investigation revealed that a similar pickup truck was observed along Line 41 at approximately 1:55 a.m. on Saturday February 26th. The truck appeared to have 3 occupants.

The public is urged to contact police immediately when suspicious persons or vehicles are observed on your property or in your neighbourhood. Call police immediately, don’t delay; your information may help solve a crime.
