(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Thursday March 13, 2014, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to Roth Drainage Company located on Line 45 just east of Perth Road 107, where gasoline was reported stolen from a fuel bulk tank.
Investigation indicated that sometime between Thursday March 06 and Thursday March 13, 2014, unknown person(s) entered onto the property and pumped nearly 2000 litres of gasoline from the tank (approx. value $2,300).
The fuel tank is one of three tanks located on the south side of the building. They are in a lighted location, visible from traffic on Perth Road 107 and Line 45.
Anyone having observed a suspicious vehicle near the fuel tanks, or having information about this theft is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
