(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) Perth County OPP officers in Mitchell were called to the Erie Thames Power yard at 50 Arthur St. South to investigate the theft of heavy duty electrical wire.
Investigation indicated that sometime between Jan.16 and Jan. 21, 2013, unknown person/s entered the public works-hydro company yard and removed 120 meters of insulated heavy duty copper wire from the spool storage rack located at the rear of the Hydro company building. The approximate value of the stolen wire is $1,200.00
The wire has the following marking on the side of the black plastic coating.

Anyone having observed suspicious activity at the Erie Thames Power yard, or who has information about this theft is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
