(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Friday, October 25, 2013, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the theft of a Stihl chainsaw.
The Stihl chainsaw, model M5441, serial number 170752665, was stolen sometime over night from a Hydro One truck parked in the lot at Peninsula Ford located on Hwy. 6 & 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Investigation revealed that a chainsaw matching this description was posted on Kijiji Owen Sound the same day and sold.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
