(Hawkesbury, ON) On Monday, February 10, 2014, the Hawkesbury OPP received a call by the Performance Auto garage concerning the theft of a catalytic converter on a vehicle that was parked in the rear parking lot of his garage.
The investigation by Constable Michael Roy revealed that someone cut the catalytic converter from a GMC Sierra truck that was parked in the backyard parking lot.
There have been a few thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles in the Hawkesbury area in the last few months.
