Theft Of Bikes In St. Marys

(ST MARYS, ON) –Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating two separate bicycle thefts that occurred over the weekend.

On Saturday December 31, 2016, between approximately 11:00 pm and 7:00 am, a blue and grey Kona women’s mountain bike was stolen from an unlocked garage on Waterloo Street South in the Town of St Marys.

On Sunday January 1, 2017, between approximately midnight and 7:00 am, a black and white Norco Bigfoot bike was stolen overnight from a garden shed on James Street in the Town of St Marys.

If you see a suspicious vehicle or person, please report it to the police immediately.

The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.crimestoppersgb.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
