Police continue to investigate the theft of a vehicle in Cambridge. On July 11, 2014 at approximately 11:30 p.m., a mobility van was stolen from Community Living Cambridge on Hespeler Road. The vehicle is a 2006 Ford E-series van, licence BJHE 678, dark grey in colour with light coloured running boards. The vehicle contains a lift system and restraints for transporting persons in wheelchairs. The suspects were driving a sport utility type vehicle at the time of the theft. The theft of the vehicle represents a great loss to Community Living Cambridge which relies on their fleet for transporting persons with disabilities to various events and appointments throughout the Region. It is unknown if insurance will cover the loss of the vehicle’s contents.
