(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) was called to a report of a suspicious male at the Walmart store on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg just before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 31, 2013.
The male suspect was located by police in the Walmart washroom, concealing $280.00 worth of merchandise including razors and laundry detergent in his knapsack. Police arrested the male for shoplifting. The male was searched and a prohibited weapon (knife) was found in his possession.
Justin KALMBACH, 23 years of Tillsonburg is charged with the following:
Theft Under $5000-Shoplifting – Contrary to The Criminal Code of Canada
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon – Contrary to The Criminal Code of Canada
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer in Charge Undertaking with a court date on August 27, 2013 at the Woodstock Courthouse.
