(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a rural residence on Road 176 north east of Molesworth on Saturday July 09, 2011 in response to a break-in and theft from a shed.
Investigation revealed that between 4 and 8 p.m. on Saturday July 09, 2011 an unknown person(s) cut the padlock from a shed on the rural property and rummaged through the contents of the shed. Numerous items were moved about and 3 full gas cans were stolen. This is the second time that the shed was broken into within a week. The first break-in occurred sometime between the afternoon of Friday July 01 and the morning of Wednesday July 06, 2011. At that time the padlock on the man-door was cut off and a small number of power tools were taken. The tools included a Makita cordless driver drill, a Mastercraft compact cordless screwdriver kit, a Porter Cable router and a Makita circular saw.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have information about these break-ins, or who has seen suspicious persons or vehicles on Road 176 between Perth Line 86 and Line 87 on the dates in question, to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
