Theft From Laundry Machines

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding residents to be as vigilant during the daytime hours as they are when the lights go out when it comes to protecting their homes and businesses.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is investigating a theft from a South Drive, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

Between Wednesday, April 1, 2015 and Sunday, July 5, 2015, unknown suspects attended the address and entered the laundry room located in the building on several different occasions. Once inside, unknowns removed a large amount of Canadian currency from each of the washing machines.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
