(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at approximately 12:34 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in and theft from Huron Tractor located at the corner of Hwy. 6 and Grey Rd. 40 in the Township of Chatsworth.
Sometime overnight, between Monday, April 6th and Tuesday, April 7th, unknown person(s) cut the padlock on the gate to access the property. Once inside, they forcibly entered a fenced area and removed two John Deere lawn tractors. The tractors were loaded onto a heavy duty 20 foot utility trailer which was taken from the yard.

The total value of the stolen property was estimated at just over $35,000.
Grey County OPP, with the assistance of the Grey County OPP Street Crimes Unit, continues to investigate.
