Theft From Cars

(Collingwood and The Blue Mountains, Ontario) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received several reports of theft from cars incidents in the area that all took place overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.

The incidents took place on Snowbridge Way (2 incidents on that street), Augusta Crescent, Plater Street and Farm Gate Road and Holly Court where vehicles parked in private drives were entered and items were stolen including:

– Oakley Sunglasses, small amount of Canadian currency and 4 walllets were stolen including its contents such as ID cards.

Residents are reminded to remove any valuables from their vehicles (wallets, cell phones, MP3 players, money) and to lock their car door whenever the vehicle is left unattended.
