Over the course of several days in August of this year an unknown male party attended the Rona Store located at 61 Mapleton Drive East, Barrie. On each occasion the male selected various items and exited the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise.
Police commenced an investigation and subsequently were able to identify the male. In the evening hours of Saturday November 8 the male was located at a downtown address and arrested on 4 counts of Theft Under $5,000 and returned to the Barrie Police Station. A 46 Year old Barrie resident was subsequently released with a future court date.
