Barrie Police were called to a east end residence for a report of a theft.
Police were told by an 80 year old complainant, her daughter (suspect) had stolen and used her credit card.
The complainant advised before she was able to cancel the card, the suspect had made two cash withdrawals totaling $900.
Police were unable to locate the suspect and began preparing a warrant for her arrest.
However at 9:30pm, the suspect returned to her mother’s home wanting to sleep.
Police were called and quickly took the suspect into custody.
A 53 year old female is now facing a Saturday morning bail hearing for charges of theft.
