(TAY TOWNSHIP) – On January 23, 2016 at approximately 4:18 p.m. officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint from a concerned driver. The driver’s attention was drawn to the driving behaviour of a motorist in the area of Victoria Harbour on Highway 12, Tay Township, ON.
Police located this motor vehicle a short time later on Park Street in Victoria Harbour, ON. As a result of further investigation, police arrested and charged the male driver Terry JESSEN (age 41) of Tay Township, ON with:
Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on February 2, 2016 in Midland, ON.
