(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – Members of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit have charged a 19 year old male, 19 year old female and a 16 year old male after police investigated several vehicle entries in the Paris, Brant County, Ontario area.
Between Friday, August 21, 2015 and Monday, August 24, 2015, several unlocked vehicles were entered in the areas of Daugaard Avenue, Court Drive, Kelly Court and Scott Avenue. Various items and property were removed along with Canadian currency.
Members of the Street Crime Unit were on patrol on Monday, August 24 in the early morning hours in the area Grand River Street when they observed three individuals entering unlocked motor vehicles.
All three were taken into custody without incident.
As result of police investigation, three individuals are facing charges.
Charged with the theft under $5,000 dollars X4 is 19-year-old Jason Wesley Ross BUTLER of Brant County, Ontario.
Charged with theft under $5,000 dollar X4 is 19-year-old Alexandra Lee HUTCHINSON of Brant County, Ontario.
Charged with theft under $5,000 dollars is a 16-year-old male of Brant County, Ontario.
All are to appear in Provincial Court, Brantford at a later date to answer to the charges.
Police have recovered stolen property as a result of this investigation and would like to return it to its rightful owner. If any community resident in Paris, Ontario had a vehicle entered and property removed they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
