(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) â On May 4, 2016 at approximately 1:46 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a pedestrian that had been struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Sykes Street North and Collingwood Street in the Municipality of Meaford.
The pedestrian, a 16-year old female from Meaford, was taken to hospital with minor injuries and released.
The driver of the vehicle, a 75 year old male from the Municipality of Meaford, was charged with Fail to Obey School Crossing Stop Sign under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
