Teen Charged With Break, Enter, Theft and Breach

Before 7pm on Monday evening (19 August) an off duty employee of the Owen Sound Police Service spotted a group of approximately 5 teenagers hanging around a business in the down town core of the city. Upon further observation the one teen was seen entering the building by way of a rear basement door. Officers arrived on scene and intercepted this young male as he exited the closed business the same way he had entered. The 16 year old male was taken into custody and found to have a small amount of stolen property in his possession.

This young man was charged with Break, Enter and Theft as well as three counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of his Probation Order. He was held in custody and will be taken before bail court in the morning of the 20th of August.
