(WALKERTON, ON) – On December 21st at 9:50 pm, members of the South Bruce OPP set up a R.I.D.E. checkpoint on Jackson Street South in Walkerton. At 11:10 pm, a truck stopped at the R.I.D.E. and officers determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 32 year old Teddy MacQUARRIE of Machar Township has been charged with Impaired driving and Operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on January 31st, 2011 to answer to the charges.
