Tonight at 5:30, there is a budget meeting at Town Hall. If you have any questions, comments or concerns about North Huron’s taxes, tonight is one of the few times you will be allowed to ask questions regarding the budget.
A few WFP supporters have speculated that the meeting was scheduled during the super hour to discourage attendance from the public. Many taxpayers will not have returned home form work/commute at 5:30, let alone have their evening meal.
If you are able to attend, you are strongly encouraged to do so. If you do not stand up to council and demand change, our taxes will continue to rise, along with vacancy rates and crime.
