Tanner LANGILLE – 133 in an 80

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On February 28, 2017 at approximately 8:44 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road in the City of Guelph. The officer observed a male driving a 2013 Volkswagen travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 133 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

20-year-old Tanner LANGILLE of Caledon has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on April 5, 2017. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
