(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On April 4, 2015 at approximately 2:55 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling Highway 7 near Guelph-Woolwich Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township and stopped a 2011 Mercedes. Officers believed that the female driver had consumed alcohol and a Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. She was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Taiga GODDYN-TUCKER age 27 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 21, 2015 to answer to the charge.
