SUSPICIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE

(Oro-Medonte, ON) – On Friday April 4th, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a suspicious motor vehicle reported in the area of Elvyn Crescent in Oro-Medonte Twp. An OPP investigation revealed that shortly before police were contacted a young female was walking on Elvyn Crescent. A white van, possible Chevrolet cargo van with tinted windows, older model or similar style stopped and the driver asked if he could take her home. This female immediately ran to a neighbour’s home, the male then drove off. The driver of this van was described as between fifty and sixty year’s old, dark brown hair that is unkempt and shaggy.

Police are interested in speaking to this male.
