The Chatham-Kent police are actively investigating the report of a suspicious man in Blenheim.
On Monday, February 24, 2014 around 8:40 a.m. a man driving a white truck stopped and asked a young girl walking on Talbot Street West if she wanted a ride to school. The girl replied, ‘No’ and the man drove away. The girl was not harmed in any way.
The man is described as being white, older in age with white hair, balding on top, and a white beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt at the time of the incident.
Police would like to speak with this individual. Anyone with information that may assist in either identifying the truck or the man is urged to contact Constable Jayme O’Reilly at 519-436-6600 extension #87006.
