Suspicious Males With Shovels Claimed To Be Removing Trees

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment were contacted by a concerned property owner after noticing two suspicious males at a Cockshutt Road, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.

On Thursday, April 30, 2015 at approximately 12:52 p.m., a property owner observed a suspicious vehicle parked near their property. The owner attended and observed two males exit the property with shovels. The males were confronted and informed the owner that they were removing trees from the property.

The males then entered a white coloured older Chevrolet pick-up truck which was last north bound on Cockshutt Road.

The first suspect is described as a white male, late 40’s, 5’8, thin build, unshaven appearance.

The second suspect is described as a white male, younger in appearance.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older white Chevrolet pick-up truck with a cap on the box of the truck.

The OPP want to remind all Norfolk County residents that if they observed anyone suspicious in or around their property or your neighbour’s property to contact the police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
