Suspicious Fire

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant detachment and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office are currently investigating a suspicious house fire at a Maple Grove Road, County of Brant, ON address.

On Thursday January 22nd, 2015 at approximately 5:00 am County of Brant Fire Department was called to a house fire on Maple Grove Road. Upon arrival the house was fully engulfed in flames. The fire was eventually extinguished but not before it caused extensive damage.

At the time of the fire, the house was vacant, with no current residents.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined by the Fire Marshal and the investigation is continuing.
