(Ottawa)-Today, the Ottawa Police Service responded to a call for service at approx 9:13am regarding the discovery of a female body in the 2900 block of Nixon Drive in a hay field, South East of Ottawa. A member of the public discovered a body.
The Ottawa Police is investigating the suspicious death and the Major Crime Section is overseeing the file. There has been no positive identification of the female victim and a post-mortem will be scheduled.
Further updates will be provided after the post-mortem and next of kin notification.
