(BANCROFT, ON) – During the morning on the 9th of October, 2016 officers with the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting traffic enforcement in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands on Highway 62. The officers were assisted by the Automated Licence Plate Recognition System (ALPR).
The ALPR system registered a positive hit and officers conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle. After speaking to the driver, officers identified her as a suspended driver.
Arly KIRBY, 61 years of Hastings Highlands, was charged with driving while suspended. The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 1st of November, 2016.
