(Champlain, ON) On January 29th 2014, in the Municipality of Champlain, while on patrol, OPP Constable Jean-Alexandre Robillard Cardinal observed a 2003 Kia Rio traveling on Bay Road. A verification of the licence plate revealed that the owner of the vehicle was suspended from driving. The vehicle was consequently intercepted for investigation. The owner of the vehicle was found at the wheel of his vehicle.
Jean-Yves D’AMOUR (48 yrs) of Rockland, was charged with section 53(1) of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act for Driving while under suspension.
He is scheduled to appear at the L’Orignal Court on February 6th at 9am.
