(Casselman, ON) On January 9, 2014 OPP Constable Bernard Montpetit was operating radar on Highway 417 near Casselman. The officer intercepted a vehicle travelling 137 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. The officer spoke to driver and obtained his information. Police computer verification revealed that the driver was suspended for demerit point accumulation.
Reedwan HUDA, 18 years old form Hawkesbury will have to appear in L’Orignal traffic court on February 6, 2014 to answer to the following charge:
HTA 53(1) Driving while under suspension
The driver was also issued a provincial offence notice for the following infraction:
