(HALIBURTON, ON.) – On December 30, 2014 officers from the Haliburton Highlands detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call involving a break, enter and attempted theft at the Valu Mart in Minden.
Initial investigation revealed that sometime between 8:00a.m.-8:30a.m. a suspect entered a locked portion of the building by removing a window pane. The suspect removed several items from the area, including a President’s Choice jacket, but was unable to get into the safe.
The OPP is currently looking for a male party in his 20’s, 5’8â€-5’10†in height, with a shaved head. He was last observed wearing checkered black pajama pants and a black jacket.
A Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) attended the location to assist with the investigation.
