(LAIRD TWP, ON) The officers with Thessalon and Sault Ste-Marie Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Sault Ste-Marie Police Service K9 Unit were searching for a male suspect who fled from police after a report of theft of gas earlier this morning.
The suspect fled from his vehicle and into the bush at the border of Laird Townhip and Tarbutt Additional Township.
The male suspect has been apprehended.
