(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On November 23, 2014 a vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the driver being arrested and charged with an alcohol related offence.
The officer approached the driver of a vehicle on Monck Road near Crego Lake Road and determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. As a result of the investigation the driver was arrested and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
Susan FAHL, 45 years of age, of Laxton-Digby-Longford Township, was charged with driving a motor vehicle while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on December 18, 2014.
