Investigators have completed their investigation into this occurrence and have concluded that Jan LYSAK age 63 of Oakville passed away due to natural causes while tending to a controlled fire on his property near Farlain Lake, Tiny Township.
SOUTHERN GEORGIAN OPP INVESTIGATE A SUDDEN DEATH NEAR A BUSH FIRE AT A TINY TOWNSHIP RESIDENCE
(TINY TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the death of a male. In the late afternoon on April 25, 2015 members of the Tiny Township Fire Department responded to a bush fire in Tiny Township.
When the Fire Department arrived at the scene, the male was found at the rear of the residence in the vicinity of the Bush fire.
OPP Forensic Identification Unit are assisting with the investigation.
The identity of the male has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
