(SOUTH FRONTENAC, ON) – On the 15th of November, 2013, the Ontario Provincial Police responded to 1279 James Wilson Road, in regards to reports of a tree that had ‘pinned’ a man to the ground.
A 33 year old man had been employed as an arborist at this address, and was discovered underneath one of the fallen trees. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding paramedics.
The Ontario Provincial Police are assisting the Coroner’s Office and investigators from the Ministry of Labour in order to determine the exact cause of the incident.
