(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) Officers from the Bracebridge OPP Street Crime Unit (Muskoka Vice) arrested and charged a male with multiple criminal and provincial charges after pulling over a vehicle driving erratically, at speeds in excess of 160 km/hour in an 80 km/hour zone in the Town of Bracebridge.
The driver of the vehicle was found to be a prohibited driver and investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol. He was also found to be in possession of what appeared to be illegal drugs.
A 30 year man, Thomas POWLESSS, from Ohsweken ON, was transported to the Bracebridge Detachment where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle with excess of the legal limit of alcohol in his blood, driving while prohibited and stunt driving.
POWLESS is scheduled to attend Bracebridge Court on September 17, 2013 to answer the charges.
