(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On August 5, 2014 at approximately 6:54 a.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in the area of Richmond Street and Ilderton Road when an officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.
The officer measured the vehicle travelling in excess of 50 km/h over the posted speed limit. The vehicle was stopped by police and as a result of their investigation, driver Dale BLUTEAU, age 26 of London, ON has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle under the Highway Traffic Act. The accused’s licence has been suspended and the involved vehicle will be impounded for seven days under the stunt drive legislation.
A court date has been set for September 15, 2014 to speak to the charge.
