(LISTOWEL & ST.MARYS, ON) This Saturday November 30, 2013, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police officers are teaming up with the Salvation Army in Listowel and St.Marys to help make Christmas extra special this for needy children this year.
OPP officers will have their cruisers set up in front of the St.Marys Canadian Tire Store as well as the Listowel Walmart store on Saturday November 30, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. They will be collecting new unwrapped toys for children from less fortunate families. The local Salvation Army in Listowel and St.Marys will ensure that these toys are distributed to the needy families within their towns.
In previous years this drive has been hugely successful, and hopefully this year will be no different. We all know that the need is greater than ever.
