(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On January 4, 2016 at approximately 8:40 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a structure fire on Victoria Street in the Municipality of Meaford.
The Meaford Fire Department found a working fire contained in one of the units within the apartment compound and extinguished the fire. There was no one home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The fire is deemed to be suspicious. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
