(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Friday, January 3, 2014 at approximately 10:04 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a structure fire on Grey Road 18 in the Municipality of Meaford.
The Inter-Township Fire and Chatsworth Fire Departments attended. A workshop with an attached lean-to, housing a parked vehicle was damaged. The fire was believed to have started as a result of a block heater. There were no injuries reported.
Grey Road 18 between Concession 4 and Concession 6 was closed for approximately 1.5 hours for emergency responders.
