(GREENSTONE, ON) The Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have continued the investigation into a sting of break and enters in Geraldton, Ontario, including those at the municipality’s Evac Centre.
On April 30, 2018, Bain Achneepineskum, age 18, of Geraldton, Ontario, was charged with several counts of breaking and entering in relation to the break-ins occurring at the municipal building.
As a result of the ongoing investigation into property crimes in Geraldton, the accused has been further charged for an April 24, 2018, break and enter in which a garage was broken into and an air pistol was stolen. Police have recovered the stolen air pistol and the accused has been additionally charged with:
Breaking, Entering and Committing an Indictable Offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
He will appear in court on June 7, 2018, at 10:00 am, in Geraldton, Ontario, to answer to all charges.
