Street Gang Unit Arrests

On Thursday, October 24, 2013, the London Police Street Gang Unit executed a search warrant at an Arbour Glen Crescent residence.

The subjects of the search warrant, 27-year-old Wayne Faraj and 28-year-old Amanda Davis, were arrested in the area of the residence at approximately the same time.

The following items were seized:
– 55 grams of cocaine – $5500
– 0.2 grams of crack cocaine – $20
– 4.1 grams of marijuana – $41
– $1717 of Canadian currency

Wayne Faraj and Amanda Davis have been charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:

– Possession of a Schedule I substance, contrary to section 5(2); and
– Possession of a Schedule II substance, contrary to section 4(1).

Wayne Faraj is also charged with driving while disqualified, contrary to section 259(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

These arrests were made possible by a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
