Stormont Dundas Press Releases

(North Glengarry) – On June 14, 2016 at approximately 6:00pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a suspicious male attempting to remove items from a vehicle at a property on Peel Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that the accused also uttered a threat towards the owner. Further information revealed that he was in contravention of conditions imposed from previous incidents.

Justin LEBRUN-LACOMBE (27) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Attempt Theft

– Utter Threats

– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)

– Breach of Recognizance

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.

THEFTS

(South Glengarry) – Between June 9-10, 2016 – a theft occurred at a property located on County Road 19, South Glengarry Township. Taken were the following items;

– Blue “LUZHONG” tractor with cab and bucket assembly (Photo attached)

– Honda generator 2000 Series

– Assorted power and hand tools

(South Glengarry) – Between June 12-14, 2016 – a building on a commercial property located on Little Fifth Road, South Glengarry Township was forcibly entered. Inside, a quantity of copper and brass was removed.

(South Glengarry) – Between June 13-14, 2016 – a theft occurred at a property located on 2nd Line Road, South Glengarry Township. Approximately 40 cedar trees were removed.
