PERSONATION

(South Dundas) – On June 22, 2016 at approximately 7:29pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle for speeding on Highway 401, South Dundas Township. The adult female driver provided the officer with false identification. Further information revealed her driving permit was under suspension.

Keisha STEPHENSON (27) of Scarborough, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Personation with Intent

– Driving While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)

– Speeding (Highway Traffic Act)

She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice (Personation charge) in Morrisburg on August 9, 2016.

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(South Stormont) – On June 22, 2016 at approximately 2:50am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a traffic complaint on Cornwall Centre Road, South Stormont Township. After speaking to the female driver, domestic incidents involving her ex-boyfriend were disclosed. Information indicated that previous assaults and harassment over the last several months involving the male had taken place.

A 23-year-old male from South Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Criminal Harassment

– Assault – Spousal (3 counts)

– Assault with a Weapon (drinking glass)

He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 23, 2016. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim
