DRUGS SEIZED
(South Glengarry) – On June 23, 2016 at approximately 10:36am, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
The male driver, Terrence SMITH (65) of South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on August 10, 2016.
THEFT
(South Stormont) – Between (June 2-23, 2016) vehicle diagnostic computer equipment was taken from a commercial property on Cornwall Centre Road, South Stormont Township.
An investigation continues.
FAIL TO REMAIN COLLISION
(North Glengarry) – On June 23, 2016 at approximately 6:56pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of a two (2) motor vehicle collision on Centre Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that a red Chev Cavalier struck a parked pick-up truck and fled the scene westbound on Centre Street. Damage should be evident to the rear of the vehicle. No injuries resulted.
An investigation continues.
