(South Stormont) – On June 24, 2016 at approximately 10:38 pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that a male left the residence in an intoxicated state after a verbal altercation. Officers located the male a short time later operating a motor vehicle in the city of Cornwall.
The male driver Steven MONTROY (42) from South Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Impaired operation of motor vehicle
– Over 80 milligrams
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on July 14th, 2016.
THEFTS
(South Dundas) – On June 25, 2016 at approximately 2:24 am, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 8, South Dundas Township. The stop resulted in recovering a red Yamaha Turf Pro golf cart, which had been stolen from the Morrisburg Golf Club.
The male party Jason BEAUPRE (24) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $ 5000
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on July 19th, 2016.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS
(North Glengarry) – On June 26, 2016 at approximately 9:25 am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on in North Glengarry Township where a physical altercation had taken place.
A 57-year-old male from North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault – Domestic
– Uttering Death Threats
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on July 12th, 2016. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim involved.
(North Glengarry) – On June 26, 2016 at approximately 10:30 pm, an SD&G OPP officer responded to a family dispute on Hughie MUNRO Street, North Glengarry Township. The investigation revealed an argument between a father and son had occurred.
The male Claude BONNEVILLE (52) from North Glengarry Township, was arrested and is charged with;
– Public mischief
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on July 06th, 2016.
